I'm a freelance film editor specializing in long form documentary programming but with experience in many genres of visual storytelling. My work has screened at TIFF, SXSW, Hot Docs and dozens of other festivals and has been presented by streamers/broadcasters including Paramount+, Amazon Prime, CBC, A&E, CRAVE, National Geographic and others. I won the 2023 Canadian Screen Award for best editing in a factual series and the 2022 CCE Award for Best Editing in Documentary Series, and have been nominated for several other awards. For co-production/tax credit purposes I'm based in Toronto, open to travelling, and have citizenship in both Canada and in the UK. I've edited episodic docudrama programs such as Mayday/Air Crash Investigatons. as well as music videos for labels including Arts & Crafts, VICE Records and Universal Music Canada. I've also produced and edited sizzle reels and trailers for clients including Temple Street, Primitive, Fathom Film Group, Cineflix and Sphinx Productions. I spent the first decade of my career alternating between documentary work and the reality competition genre, where I worked on multiple seasons of Top Chef Canada, Project Runway Canada and Big Brother Canada. More recently I have been transitioning into scripted work and have edited a couple of narrative short films, which will be released soon.
